Corpus got on the board early with a Fisher solo HR in the first, his 9th HR of the season. Gomez had three outfield assists and also added a solo HR in the 5th inning to extend the lead to 2-0. The biggest assist Gomez had came in the 8th inning. With 1 run already in, Arkansas had the bases loaded with only one out. Aguilera came up to bat and hit a flyball to center to Gomez. Gomez ended up catching the ball and making a throw home to throw out the potential tying run. McCurry got into a bit of trouble in the 9th but struck out two batters to seal it.

This game got out of hand early. Stockton dropped 9 runs in the first three innings, all off of Hernandez. Then in the 5th, Stockton added 7 more runs to increased their lead to 16-0. Lancaster wouldn’t go quiet though. Stubbs had an RBI double in the 6th to get the Jethawks on the board. In the 7th Lancaster would get 3 runs with a solo HR from Ferguson and a run scoring on a wild pitch and a groudout. In the 8th Ferguson added an RBI single and Martin had a 2 run double.
