AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (66-63) lost 11-3 (BOX SCORE)
Sugar Land got on the board in the first inning on a Loperfido RBI double. They got 2 more runs in the third inning on a Meyers 2 run double. Alexander got the start but struggled allowing 7 runs over 4.2 innings. Weiss allowed 4 runs in relief and the offense struggled the rest of the way as Sugar Land fell 11-3.

Taylor started for the Hooks and went 4.2 innings allowing 5 runs while striking out 4. The offense got on the board in the 6th on a Whitaker RBI single. Leach struggled in relief allowing 4 runs in the 8th and the offense was quiet the rest of the way as the Hooks fell 9-1.

In the 8th, the offense rallied scoring 6 runs on a Luciano RBI double, Sierra sac fly, Hughes walk, Durnin 2 run single and Alvarez 2 run single. Verdugo closed it out tossing 3 scoreless innings with 6 strikeouts as the Woodpeckers won 6-2.
