AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (58-60) won 4-3 (BOX SCORE)
Pecko started for Sugar Land and was solid tossing 4 scoreless innings with 6 strikeouts. The offense got on the board in the 4th scoring 2 runs on a Leon 2 run HR. They got 2 more runs in the 5th on an error. The Cubs got 2 runs in the 5th off of Knorr to get on the board. The bullpen pitched well, ultimately allowing just one more runs as Sugar Land won 4-3.

Garcia got the rehab start for the Hooks but struggled a bit allowing 6 runs, 5 earned, over 4.1 innings. The Hooks got on the board in the first inning on a Clarke solo HR. They picked up another run in the 3rd on an Austin RBI groundout. In the 6th, the offense got two runs back on a Ferreras RBI single and a run scoring on a wild pitch. Tredwell was dominant in relief striking out 10 over 4 innings but the offense was unable to rally as the Hooks fell 7-4.

The Woodpeckers got on the board in the 3rd inning on a Powell 2 run double. Rodriguez got the start but things unraveled in the third as he allowed 7 runs, and then Mercedes allowed 2 more as the Nationals took a big lead. The Woodpeckers got 2 back in the 5th on a Frey double and Powell groundout. Rosario struggled in relief allowing 6 runs over 2 innings as the Nationals extended their lead.
