This will be your weekly hot list of prospects who are performing well at the plate and on the mound. Here is last week’s hotlist. Below is the new hotlist for Week Three.

Who’s Hot At The Plate?

Caden Powell – Powell was seen as a high potential pick last year after dominating JuCo and being a 6th round pick. Powell has been really good this year and this week he showed off some pop connecting on 4 home runs in 6 games for the Woodpeckers. He’s hitting .290 with a .857 OPS this season.

Max Holy – Holy was signed as an undrafted free agent following the draft last year and he has been really good for the Woodpeckers this season. This week, Holy hit .350 with 2 doubles, a triple, 5 runs batted in and 6 stolen bases. He’s hitting .351 with 8 stolen bases in 12 games this season.

Chase Jaworsky – Jaworsky got off to a bit of a slow start this year but put together a nice week this week for Asheville. The lefty hitter batted .391 with 2 doubles, 4 runs batted in and 4 stolen bases in 6 games. He’s hitting .286 with 7 stolen bases over his last 12 games.

Drew Brutcher – After landing on this list last week, Brutcher finds himself here again. The undrafted free agent has been very good this year and this week he had his best week going 10-for-20 (.500) with 2 runs batted in and only 3 strikeouts. He’s hitting .333 this season.

Who’s Hot On The Mound?

Jose Fleury – Another week, another hotlist featuring Jose Fleury. The right-hander had another strong outing allowing 1 run over 6 innings with 6 strikeouts. He has a 0.96 ERA with 5 BB/31 K in 28 innings this season. Dominant numbers.

Alain Pena – After some solid numbers last year, Pena got off to a rough start in 2025. This week was a lot better though as he went 6 innings allowing 1 run while striking out 7 batters. A nice step in the right direction for the 22-year-old.

Miguel Ullola – Ullola is seen as one of the top pitching prospects in the Astros system and had a great outing this week for Sugar Land. The right-hander tossed 5 scoreless innings allowing just 1 hit and striking out 5 batters. A step in the right direction for him.

Luis Rodriguez – Rodriguez was acquired in the deal that sent Julks to Chicago. The 21-year-old is off to a nice start in his first full-season including a start this week where he allowed 1 run over 5 innings while striking out 6. He has a 1.23 ERA this season.
