AAA: Round Rock Express (13-10) POSTPONED


AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (12-13) OFF

Note: J.J. Matijevic has been suspended for 50 games for a drug violation.


A+: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (14-12) lost 3-1 (BOX SCORE)

Dubin made his second start in High-A and while it was better than his first, he still allowed 3 earned runs over 4.2 innings. The offense only managed to score 1 run last night on a Shaver RBI double in the 4th inning. Ramirez relieved Dubin and struck out 8 over 4.1 innings. The offense was unable to mount a comeback.

Note: Ramirez has a 1.77 ERA with 30 K in 20.1 innings this season.


A: Quad Cities River Bandits (13-10) won 6-5 (BOX SCORE)

Hansen turned in another great start last night tossing 5 scoreless innings with 4 strikeouts. This lowered his season ERA to 2.00. The offense picked up 2 runs in the first on RBI groundouts from Lacroix and Schreiber. In the 3rd inning, Schreiber connected on a 3 run HR to make it 5-0. Salazar added a solo HR in the 6th, his first of the year. Bermudez relieved Hansen and struggled allowing 4 runs, 3 earned. Conn relieved him and allowed one more before getting out of the 7th still up 6-5. The bullpen locked down after that with two scoreless innings to hold the lead.

Note: Hansen has a 2.00 ERA with 22 K in 18 innings this season.
