Houston Astros Minor League Recap: April 27th
Only two teams in action last night on the Astros farm. See how the prospects performed last night.
AAA: Fresno Grizzlies (8-10) OFF
AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (9-9) lost 3-1 (BOX SCORE)
Corpus lost another close one by two runs, their third loss in a row. David Paulino got the start and he was fantastic going four scoreless innings striking out seven. He now owns a 1.59 ERA with 23 K in 17 IP on the season. The Hooks only managed three hits including doubles from Davis and Gregor. 20 year old Juan Santos made his AA debut and gave up 2 runs in 2 innings of work.

A+: Lancaster Jethawks (6-11) lost 9-5 (BOX SCORE)
Great start for Dean Deetz who went 5 IP while giving up 1 ER. He has had a good season so far posting a 2.37 ERA. The Jethawks got off to a nice start with two runs in the first including a Nick Tanielu solo HR, his second of the season. Lancaster held a lead all the way to the 8th inning where Bakersfield scored four runs in the 8th and 9th innings. Lancaster attempted a comeback but was only able to scratch out two more runs. Jason Martin, Kristian Trompiz, and Ramon Laureano all added an RBI each.
