AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (71-70) lost 8-5 (BOX SCORE)
Mayer got the start for Sugar Land and allowed 3 runs over 4.2 innings while striking out 6. The pen struggled allowing another 5 runs as the Comets opened up a big lead. The offense got on the board in the 7th inning on a Spence 2 run home run. In the 8th, Spence connected on another home run, this time a 3 run shot. The offense was unable to score again as Sugar Land fell 8-5.

The game stayed tied at one until the 9th inning when the Hooks scored 4 runs on a Holy RBI single, a run on a wild pitch and a Call 2 run single. Chirinos allowed a run in the 9th inning but held on for the 5-2 win.
