This post is strictly a thank you to all of the followers and readers who supported Astros Future during the 2026 season.
From the Dominican Summer League to Sugar Land, there were 708 minor league games played by Astros affiliates this season. It was a blast covering the system from start to finish, and there was no shortage of memorable moments along the way.
The Florida Complex League Astros and Fayetteville Woodpeckers both took home league titles, while we saw breakout performances, top prospects take huge steps forward, new draft picks make their professional debuts, and plenty of players put themselves on the map.
But more than anything, I just want to say thank you.
Whether you read the daily recaps, checked out the prospect rankings, listened to the podcast, subscribed to the newsletter, shared an article, interacted with a post on social media, or simply followed along throughout the season, I truly appreciate the support.
Astros Future has continued to grow beyond anything I imagined when I started covering the system, and that only happens because people continue to read, listen and follow along.
The minor league season may be over, but the coverage won’t stop. There will be plenty to talk about this offseason as we look toward 2027.
Thank you again for following along and supporting Astros Future throughout the 2026 season. It was a fun one.
