Jackson Nezuh | Credit: Ben Zaragosa

Another day of minor league baseball is in the books. See the results below.

AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (22-30) lost 12-1 (BOX SCORE)

Ullola started for Sugar Land and tossed 2 scoreless innings before being pulled. The pen struggled with Mancini and Carlson allowed 9 runs over the 4th and 5th innings. Fleury allowed another 3 runs in the 9th and the offense was unable to get anything else going as Sugar Land fell 12-1.

Note: Price has 9 HR this season.

AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (21-25) lost 3-2 (BOX SCORE)

Nezuh started for the Hooks and pitched well striking out 8 over 5.2 innings while allowing 2 runs. The Hooks got on the board in the 7th inning scoring a run on a Ferreras RBI double. The Missions got a run in the 7th to extend the lead but the Hooks got one back in the 8th inning on an Encarnacion sac fly. Unfortunately the game was called after 8 innings due to rain as the Hooks fell 3-2.

Note: Nezuh has a 3.75 ERA this season.

A+: Asheville Tourists (9-36) lost 10-2 (BOX SCORE)

Cruz started for Asheville but struggled allowing 6 runs over 4 innings. The offense got on the board in the 2nd inning on a Powell solo home run. They got another run in the 4th inning on an error. Martich allowed 2 runs in relief as the Drive extended their lead. The bullpen would allow a couple more runs and the offense was quiet the rest of the way as Asheville fell 10-2.

Note: Powell is hitting .300 this season.

A: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (19-26) lost 5-4 (BOX SCORE)

Beck got the start for the Woodpeckers and allowed 3 runs in the first, 2 earned, as he went 3 innings. The game went into a rain delay which caused his outing to be cut short. The Woodpeckers got on the board in the 5th on a passed ball and a run in the 6th on a wild pitch. Verdugo relieved Beck and allowed 2 runs over 3 innings. The Woodpeckers picked up 2 runs in the 8th on an Alvarez RBI double and Huezo sac fly. The offense was unable to rally in the 9th though as they fell 5-4.

Note: Wakefield has 21 SB this season.
