AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (71-73) lost 5-3 (BOX SCORE)

Sugar Land got on the board in the first inning on a Whitcomb solo HR. They got another run in the third inning on a Matthews solo HR. Ivey got the start and went 5,2 innings allowing 3 runs while striking out 7. In the 6th Melton connected on a solo HR. Contreras allowed 2 runs in the 8th as El Paso took the lead and the offense was unable to respond as Sugar Land fell 5-3.

Note: Melton has a .933 OPS in Triple-A.
