AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (8-11) lost 5-3 (BOX SCORE)
Ivey started for Sugar Land but struggled allowing 5 runs, 4 earned over 3.1 innings. The offense got on the board scoring 3 runs in the 2nd inning on a Bastidas RBI single, Sacco RBI single and Hamilton RBI groundout. The pen was great but the offense was quiet the rest of the way as Sugar Land fell 5-3.

Fleury got the start for the Hooks and was dominant again striking out 6 over 6.1 scoreless innings. Johnson put the Hooks on the board in the 2nd inning connecting on a 3 run HR. In the 3rd, the offense got 2 more runs on Wrobleski and Garcia RBI singles. Knorr pitched well in relief and Sanchez allowed a run in the 9th but held on for the 5-1 win.

Bello got the start and went 4 innings allowing 2 runs, both unearned, while striking out 2. The offense got a run in the 5th on a Vogel RBI double. In the 7th, Vogel tied it up with an RBI single. Pena went the final 3 innings allowing a run while striking out 3. The offense was unable to score again as they fell 3-2.

The Woodpeckers got on the board in the first on a Powell sac fly and a Valencia steal of home. Hertzler got the start and was solid allowing just 1 run over 4.1 innings while striking out 6. The offense got another run in the 7th on a Trujillo solo HR. Rodriguez allowed 2 runs in relief as the Nationals tied it. The game went to extra innings and teams exchanged runs in the 10th. In the 11th, the Nationals scored 2 runs but Brutcher tied it in the bottom of the inning with a 2 run HR. The Nationals got 3 runs in the 12th and the offense was unable to respond this time as the Woodpeckers fell 9-6.
