Astros Minor League Recap: September 27th, 2021

AAA: Sugar Land Skeeters (73-52) won 4-2 (BOX SCORE)

Baez started for the Skeeters and went 1 inning allowing 2 runs. Papierski put the Skeeters on the board in the 4th with a solo HR. In the 6th Papierski tied it up with an RBI single. The bullpen was solid with Abreu tossing 1.2 scoreless, Paredes tossing 1.1 scoreless and then 2 more scoreless from Dubin. Conine relieved Dubin and tossed 2 scoreless innings himself. Jones gave the Skeeters the lead with a solo HR in the 8th and in the 9th De Goti added some insurance with an RBI triple. Blanco closed it out striking out two to pick up the save.

Note: France has 157 K in 114 innings this season.
