Astros Minor League Recap: June 18th, 2019

Another day of minor league action in the books. See the results below.

AAA: Round Rock Express (42-29) lost 3-1 (BOX SCORE)

Bostick got the start and turned in a quality outing allowing 2 runs over 6 innings with 7 strikeouts. The Express was only able to score 1 run, which came on a double play in the first. The offense only managed just 3 hits on the night as they lost 3-1.

Note: De Goti has a hit in 12 of his last 13 games.


AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (33-37) lost 6-3 (BOX SCORE)

Bukauskas started for the Hooks and pitched well again. He allowed 2 runs, 1 earned, over 5 innings while striking out 7. The Hooks got a run in the 5th on a De La Cruz sac fly. They got two more in the 6th on Stassi and Goetzman solo HRs. Ramirez allowed 3 runs in relief as the Hooks lost 6-3.

Note: Bukauskas last 3 outings – 17.0 IP, 13 H, 3 ER, 6 BB, 22 K.
