AAA: Round Rock Express (42-27) won 6-3 (BOX SCORE)
Rojas put the Express on the board in the 2nd with an RBI single. In the 3rd, they scored 3 runs on a Stassi 2 run HR and a wild pitch. They added on 2 more runs in the 4th on a Stassi RBI single and Tucker RBI single. Martin got the start and went 5 innings allowing 2 runs with 8 strikeouts. Hartman closed it out allowing 1 run over 4 innings while striking out 8.
Note: Tucker is hitting .435 with 5 HR, 15 RBI over his last 10 games.

AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (32-36) lost 8-6 (BOX SCORE)
Paredes was the starter for the Hooks yesterday but struggled a bit allowing 6 runs over 3.1 innings. The Hooks initially took a 2-0 lead on a Goetzman RBI double in the first and a Canelon sac fly in the 2nd. The Hooks screed 3 in the 8th on a Toro solo HR, Dawson RBI single, and Canelon RBI single to make it 6-5. The Cardinals responded with two of their own though. The Hooks did get one in the 9th but it wasn’t enough as they lost 8-6.
Note: Toro has 11 HR, 50 RBI in 64 games this season.

Torres started last night and turned in a quality start allowing 3 runs over 6 innings. Manea put the Woodpeckers on the board in the 5th with a solo HR. In the 6th, the Woodpeckers scored 3 runs on a Taylor solo HR and Julks 2 run double to take a 4-3 lead. Unfortunately, the pen got rocked allowing 12 runs over the final two innings in the 15-4 loss.
Note: Costes is hitting .286 with .838 OPS in 43 games this season.

Tejada got the start and went 5 innings allowing 2 runs. Dawson put the River Bandits on the board in the 3rd on an RBI triple. Quad Cities entered the 7th down 2-1 but took the lead on an Adolph 2 run HR, his 5th of the season. River closed it out striking out 8 over 3 scoreless innings.
Note: Adolph is hitting .333 with 3 2B, 3 HR, 8 RBI in June.
