2016 International Prospect Class Update
The Astros were pretty big spenders during the 2016 International Signing period. According to this article, they signed 12 players. Five of them are from the Dominican Republic and seven are from Venezuela. Here is an update on how they have performed to this point.
Freudis Nova, SS
Nova was signed out of the Dominican Republic for $1.2 million and was the #5 prospect available during this signing period according to Baseball America. He is currently playing with DSL Astros Orange.

Yorbin Ceuta, SS
Ceuta was signed out of Venezuela for $1 million and was the #11 prospect available during this signing period according to Baseball America. He is currently playing with DSL Astros Blue.

Angel Macuare, RHP
Macuare was signed out of Venezuela for $695,000 and was the #40 prospect available during this signing period according to Baseball America. He is currently playing with DSL Astros Blue.

Angel Ortega, RHP

Mendoza was signed out of Venezuela for an undisclosed amount. He is currently playing with DSL Astros Orange.

Leonardo Gonzalez, OF
Gonzalez was signed out of Venezuela for an undisclosed amount. He is currently playing with DSL Astros Blue.
