Bregman put together another great week in AAA and looks ready for a call up. He has continued to show power with 19 HR on the season and he is now hitting .389 in AAA. Not to be outdone was Teoscar Hernandez who hit .435 this week. He now has 8 extra base hits in 10 AAA games. He has only struck out 5 times in those games. Tucker has really turned it on for Fresno. He is hitting .333 over his last 10 games with 4 HR, 11 RBI. The same can be said for Kemp and White. Kemp is up to .317 with more walks and strikeouts in AAA. White started out hot in Houston but was eventually sent back to AAA. He is hitting .286 with 6 HR in 20 games for Fresno.
The pitching, once again, was very good this week. Musgrove turned in another solid start before going to the Futures Game. Rodgers had another quality start and has a 2.88 ERA on the season. Hauschild has been overlooked but has been just as good as Rodgers. He has a 2.77 ERA with 23 BB/81 K in 96.1 innings. Peacock had a fantastic start this week showing why he was a top prospect at one point. There is a reason the Astros are still holding onto him. Hoyt continues to strike guys out at a tremendous pace and has 76 K in 43.1 innings.
AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (56-31) went 3-4 this week.
- Danry Vasquez, RF: .348 BA (8-for-23), 4 R, 3 2B
- Alejandro Garcia, OF: .313 BA (5-for-16), 4 R, 2B, 2 RBI

- Francis Martes, RHP: 6.0 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 7 K
- Cy Sneed, RHP: 6.1 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 3 BB, 4 K
- Keegan Yuhl, RHP: 5.0 IP, 7 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 0 BB, 6 K
Really nice to see Vasquez back and doing well. He was just starting to hit when he went out with an injury a few months back. Overall on the season he is hitting .274 with just 20 strikeouts in 46 games. Mayfield returned to Corpus from Fresno and provided some much needed power. He only had 6 hits this week but 4 of them were for homers. Stubbs was promoted to AA this week and had a nice debut with the double, HR, and 3 BB/1 SO.
Not much notable on the pitching side though Martes did have another great outing. On the season he now has a 3.88 ERA with 67 K in 69.2 innings. Sneed turned in a quality start this week. He has a 3.68 ERA with 73 K in 63.2 innings. Yuhl has been solid all season and could move to Fresno is a spot opens. He has 2.60 ERA in 79.2 innings.
