Houston Astros Call-Up Colin Moran
Another day, another prospect called up by the Astros. Just one day after calling up Tony Kemp, the Astros have also called up Colin Moran to join the team in Chicago.
Can confirm @pgammo report that the Astros are calling up Colin Moran. He is on his way to Chicago today.

Colin Moran was drafted with the 6th overall pick in the 2013 MLB draft by the Marlins. He was acquired by the Astros as part of the Jarred Cosart traded in July 2014.
Early on in his MiLB career he hit for average but didn’t show much power. Moran broke out last season in AA hitting .306 with 25 2B, 9 HR, 67 RBI for the Hooks. This showing earned him a shot this spring and he took advantage of it. This spring training for the Astros he hit .345 with 3 2B, 3 HR, 9 RBI.
Moran started this season with the AAA Fresno Grizzlies and has hit .288 with 7 2B, 3 HR so far. Moran has a solid hit tool and could still develop more power. For more on Moran, check out this profile.
