Houston Astros Minor League Recap: April 25th

Only two teams in action. Fresno got back on track and Corpus suffered a tough loss in extras. See how the prospects performed last night.

AAA: Fresno Grizzlies (8-9) won 7-4 (BOX SCORE)

Fresno got off to a hot start scoring six runs in the top of the 2nd inning with RBI from five different Fresno hitters. Tommy Shirley had a solid outing but ended up giving up four runs in 5.1 innings. Colin Moran went 2-for-4 with a run, walk and is now hitting .317 on the season. Kemmer had a good game with two doubles raising his average to .213. The bullpen came in and closed the game out. Hoyt was electric striking out five batters in two innings. Hoyt season line: 1.74 ERA, 10.1 IP, 5 H, 5 BB, 18 K.
