NOTABLES
Kevin Alvarez, OF
Alvarez was the Astros prize international signing as he inked a deal worth $2 million in January of this year. The outfielder lived up to those expectations as his name was all over the leader board. In 47 games, the 17-year-old hit .300 with 12 doubles, 3 triples, 2 home runs, 33 runs batted in and 11 stolen bases. This also included an impressive 12.0% walk rate and insane 9.9% strikeout rate. Really strong season at 17 years old. He was also named as a DSL All-Star.
Adrian Ardines, RHP
Ardines absolutely dominated in 2025. The 18-year-old was signed in January of 2024 and after a rough debut in 2024, he posted a 1.91 ERA over 42.1 innings in 2025. This included a team leading 56 strikeouts while walking just 7 batters, good for a ridicules 8 K/BB rate and 30.1 K/BB%. He should be stateside in 2026.
Sami Manzueta, INF
Manzueta was the youngest position player on Astros Blue in 2025 playing most of the season at 16 years old. He posted some strong numbers though as he led the team in home runs (5) and had a .797 OPS over 46 games. He also impressed with the plate discipline as he walked 42 times to just 36 strikeouts. Strong first showing for the young infielder.
Omar Damian, RHP
Damian was the youngest player over for Astros Blue in 2025. Like Manzueta, he played most of the season at 16 years old. The 6’2″ right-hander had a high ERA but was able to rack up 48 strikeouts in 38.1 innings. It will be interesting to see if the Astros try and move him stateside but Damian has a ton of upside and was seen as a dark horse signing.
Astros Orange 2025 Record: 29-26, 3rd DSL North
The DSL Astros Orange also put together a strong 2025 season and improved from a 23-32 record in 2024 to a 29-26 record in 2025. Below are the team leaders and top performers.
Here are the team leaders (min 100 AB or 30 IP):

NOTABLES
Anderson Arienamo, INF
Arienamo was signed by the Astros in January of 2025 and his first taste of professional baseball went really well. The infielder played in 51 games for DSL Orange and led the team in doubles, home runs, batting average and on-base plus slugging. The 18-year-old showed off some pop with the 10 doubles and 5 home runs, while still hitting .300. He also had a .413 OBP with 18 stolen bases. Arienamo was named a DSL All-Star as well.
Leonel Murrieta, RHP
Murrieta was signed back in October of 2024 and made his professional debut this season. In his first go at it, he led the team in innings with 48.1 innings and posted a team-best 2.79 ERA. The strikeouts weren’t very high with just 28, but he held opponents to a .220 batting average against as he allowed just 38 hits. A strong season for the 18-year-old.
Yensi De La Cruz, OF
De La Cruz was signed in May of 2024 but debuted this year. The 18-year-old was really good this season for Astros Orange. In 53 games this season, De La Cruz hit .280 with 8 doubles, 5 triples, 5 home runs and 40 runs batted in. He also added 18 stolen bases and had a solid 18% strikeout rate.
Angel Peralta, RHP
Peralta is an 18-year-old who repeated in the DSL this season but put together some pretty strong numbers. He improved across the board posting a 3.74 ERA over 45.2 innings while striking out 44. He held opponents to just a .197 batting average against and allowed just one home run all season.
