AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (43-42) won 7-2 (BOX SCORE)
Sugar Land got on the board in the 2nd inning on a Castro solo HR. In the 4th they picked up 2 more runs on a Singleton and Diaz RBI singles. Castro added an RBI double in the 5th inning. Ullola got the start and pitched well allowing 2 runs over 5 innings while striking out 6. Castro added some insurance in the 9th inning with a 2 run HR. The pen was great tossing 4 scoreless innings as they closed out the 7-2 win.
Note: Castro has a .948 OPS in Triple-A.

Dombroski got the start and pitched really well again tossing 5 scoreless innings with 3 strikeouts. The offense got on the board in the 4th on a Ferreras RBI double. In the 5th, the offense exploded for 6 runs on a Cole 2 run HR, Ferreras 3 run HR and a run scoring on an error. The bullpen tossed 2 scoreless innings as they closed out the 7-0 win.
Note: Cole has 6 HR over his last 5 games.

Tredwell started for Asheville and went 4 innings allowing 3 unearned runs. The offense got on the board in the second inning scoring a run on a balk. In the third, the offense rallied for 6 runs on a Bush RBI single, Jaworsky 3 run double, Gomez RBI single and Whitaker walk. The offense played add on getting one in the 5th on a Bush hit by pitch and one in the 6th on a Vogel sac fly. The pen allowed a run late but held on as Asheville won 11-4.

Cruz started for the Woodpeckers and allowed 4 runs over 3.2 innings. The offense got on the board in the 4th on an error and then another run in the 5th on a Valencia sac fly. Smith pitched well in relief allowing 1 unearned run over 4 innings but the offense was quiet the rest of the way as the Woodpeckers fell 5-2.
