AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (19-18) won 7-2 (BOX SCORE)
Gordon started for Sugar Land and pitched really well striking out 9 over 6 innings allowing just 2 runs, that came on a 2 run homer in the 5th. Sugar Land’s offense got the scoring started in the 3rd scoring 4 runs on a Bastidas RBI single, Castro 2 run single and Corona RBI single. In the 4th, Short added a solo HR. The offense added 2 more runs in the 5th on a Castro RBI double and Corona sac fly. Weiman and Tamarez closed it out as Sugar Land won 7-2.

AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (9-22) lost 5-4 (BOX SCORE)
Nezuh got the start for the Hooks and pitched well allowing 2 runs over 5 innings while striking out 8 batters. The offense got on the board in the 4th on RBI singles from Jordan and Gonzalez. After the RockHounds went up 3-2, the Hooks responded with a Lavastida RBI single in the 7th inning. The RockHounds retook the lead in the 8th scoring 2 runs. In the 9th, the Hooks got within a run on a Jordan solo HR but that was it as they fell 5-4.

Santos started for Asheville but ran into trouble early allowing 6 runs over 1.2 innings. The offense got a run in the first inning on a Janek solo HR. They got another in the 4th on a Spence RBI groundout. In the 5th, the offense rallied for 3 runs on a Sullivan 2 run HR and Gonzalez RBI single. The pen allowed a couple of runs in relief and the offense was unable to score again as Asheville fell 8-5.
Note: Nunez is hitting .310 this season.

Gonzalez got the start for the Woodpeckers but struggled a bit allowing 5 runs over 4 innings of work. The offense got on the board in the 4th on a Holy 2 run HR. Tredwell went the final 5 innings allowing 2 runs while striking out 4. Unfortunately, the offense was quiet the rest of the way as the Woodpeckers fell 7-2.
