Astros Minor League Recap: September 13th

Another day of Astros minor league action is in the books. See the results below!

Here is the previous day’s recap.

AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (89-52) lost 6-0 (BOX SCORE)

Gaither started and went 2 scoreless for Sugar Land. He was relieved by Tamarez who allowed 1 run over 2 innings. Mushinski was next in but struggled allowing 4 runs without retiring a batter. The offense was quiet on the night collecting just 6 hits as they were shutout in the 6-0 loss.

Note: Whitley has a 2.03 ERA in Triple-A.


AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (51-83) lost 9-2 (BOX SCORE)

Robaina got the start but struggled allowing 5 runs over 4.1 innings. The bullpen allowed another 4 runs as the RockHounds extended their lead. The Hooks got 2 runs in the 9th on a Cruz 2 run double but that was it from the offense as the Hooks fell 9-2.

Note: Cruz is hitting .462 through 4 games in Double-A.
