AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (74-40) won 6-5 (BOX SCORE)

Sugar Land got on the board in the 2nd inning on a Salazar 2 run single. Gordon got the start and went 6 innings allowing 4 runs. The offense tied things up in the 6th on a Bastidas RBI single and a run scoring on an error. Sugar Land took the lead in the 7th inning on a Whitcomb 2 run HR. The pen was solid and Suero, despite allowing a run in the 9th, closed out the 6-5 win.

Note: Whitley has a 1.99 ERA this season.

Dombroski got the start and allowed 4 runs over 3.1 innings of work. The pen allowed a run as the Hooks went down 5-0. The offense struggled collecting just 3 hits as they were shutout in the 5-0 loss.

They fell behind 4-1 but rallied for 3 runs in the 8th on a wild pitch, Spencer RBI triple and RBI groundout from Sullivan. In the 9th, the GreenJackets walked it off on a wild pitch as the Woodpeckers fell 5-4.
