AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (41-22) won 8-4 (BOX SCORE)
Gordon got the start and allowed 3 runs, 2 earned, over 3.1 innings. Whitcomb put the offense on the board with a 2 run single in the 3rd. In the 4th, Hamilton connected on a solo HR. Whitcomb added a sac fly in the 5th. The offense picked up 2 more in the 7th on a Hummel RBI double and another run on an error. In the 9th, Whitcomb added a 2 run HR to extend the lead. The pen pitched well as the closed out the 8-4 win.
Note: Whitcombn has 13 HR, 49 RBI in 56 games this season.

AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (22-35) lost 2-1 (BOX SCORE)
The Hooks got on the board in the 4th on a Sacco sac fly. Bloss got the start and pitched well again allowing 1 run over 5.2 innings. He was relieved by Strotman who allowed 1 run over 2 innings. The offense was quiet the rest of the way as the Hooks fell 2-1.
Note: Bloss has a 1.88 ERA in Double-A.

Dombroski started for Asheville and allowed 3 runs over 4 innings while striking out 4. A Cerny sac fly got the offense on the board in the 4th. In the 5th, Guillemette connected on a solo HR. The offense would add 2 more in the 7th on an Encarnacion RBI double and Baez RBI single. Calderon relieved Dombroski but struggled allowing 5 runs over 4.2 innings. Matthews added a solo HR in the bottom of the 9th but that was it as the Tourists dropped the series finale 8-5.

Tredwell started for the Woodpeckers and was solid striking out 5 over 4.2 scoreless innings. Santa pitched in relief but allowed 2 runs over 2.2 innings. The offense struggled all night but got on the board in the 9th on a Jaworsky RBI single. That was it from the offense though as the Woodpeckers feel 2-1.
