AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (47-25) lost 4-3 (BOX SCORE)

Sugar Land got on the board in the first inning on a Wagner RBI double. In the 4th they got 2 runs on a Leon RBI double and Machado RBI single. Henley started for Sugar Land and pitched well allowing 1 unearned run over 6 innings. The pen struggled through allowing 3 runs as El Paso got the 4-3 win.

Note: Wagner has a .427 OBP this season.

AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (25-41)

Game 1 – lost 5-0 (BOX SCORE)

Knorr started game one for the Hooks but struggled allowing 4 runs over 2 innings. Ford tossed 3 scoreless innings and Torres allowed just 1 unearned run over 2 innings. The offense struggled picking up only a walk in the 7 inning game as they fell 5-0.

Note: Torres has a 3.63 ERA in Double-A.

Game 2 – lost 4-2 (BOX SCORE)

The Hooks got on the board in the first on a Barber RBI single and Williams RBI double. Mancini got th start and while he only allowed 1 hit, he gave up 3 runs in 4.1 innings. The offense was quiet the rest of the way as the Hooks dropped game, 4-2.

Note: Gomez has a 1.21 ERA this season.

A+: Asheville Tourists (28-35) lost 11-10 (BOX SCORE)

Asheville got on the board in the first inning scoring 3 runs on a Baez RBI double and Guillemette 2 run double. In the 2nd inning, the offense scored 5 more runs on a Loftin RBI double, Baez RBI single, Deming RBI groundout and Garcia 2 run HR. Pecko got the start and allowed 1 run over 3 innings with 4 strikeouts.In the 4th, Garcia connected on another 2 run HR. The pen struggled as they allowed 10 runs as the Dash came back to win it, 11-10.

Note: Garcia is hitting .305 with .886 OPS this season.

A: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (29-37) lost 4-2 (BOX SCORE

Nezuh got the start for the Woodpeckers and was great allowing 2 hits and 1 run over 6 innings while striking out 6. Bush put the Woodpeckrs on the board in the 5th inning with a solo HR. In the 7th, the Woodpeckers got another run on a Luciano sac fly. Rodriguez pitched in relief and allowed 3 runs as the Shorebirds took the lead. The offense got some guys on but was unable to score again as the Woodpeckers fell 4-2.

Note: Nezuh has 71 K in 60.2 innings this season.
