Astros Minor League Recap: September 30th, 2021

The AAA affiliate is the only team in action left. See their results below.

AAA: Sugar Land Skeeters (73-53) lost 3-1 (BOX SCORE)

Greinke made a rehab start for the Skeeters and tossed 2 scoreless innings. Costes put Sugar Land on the board with a solo HR in the 4th to take a 1-0 lead. Bermudez relieved Greinke and tossed 5 scoreless innings striking out 6. After a scoreless 8th inning from Ferrell, Blanco came on to close it in the 9th but ended up allowing 3 runs as the Express took the lead. The offense went down in order in the 9th as the Skeeters fell 3-1.

Note: Bermudez has 146 K in 111 innings this season.
