Astros Minor League Recap: September 13th, 2021

Another day of minor league baseball is in the books and you can see all the Astros affiliates results below.

AAA: Sugar Land Skeeters (65-48) won 4-2 (BOX SCORE)

Jones put the Skeeters on the board in the 2nd inning with an RBI single. In the 4th they picked up 2 more runs on Castro and Wilson RBI single. Matijevic added a solo HR in the 5th. Brown got the start and struck out 6 over 6.1 innings while allowing 2 runs. Martinez, Scrubb and Blanco closed it out to secure the win.

Note: Brown has 114 K in 89 innings this season.


AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (50-63) OFF


A+: Asheville Tourists (50-60) OFF


A: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (52-62) OFF
