Odorizzi got the start in a rehab outing and pitched well tossing 4.2 scoreless but left the game with the bases loaded. Ferrell was able to come in and get the strike out to leave them stranded. The offense got on the board in the 4th inning getting 2 runs on a Papierski 2 run triple. In the 5th, Garcia connected on a solo HR, his first in AAA. Solomon relieved Ferrell and stuck out 5 over 3 innings while allowing 2 runs. The offense put the game out of reach in the 8th scoring 4 runs on a run scoring wild pitch, a 2 run double from De La Cruz and an RBI single from Garcia.
