Another day of minor league action in the books. See the results below.

AAA: Round Rock Express (18-12) won 6-5 (BOX SCORE)

Hartman has quietly had a solid start to the season and he started well yesterday allowing 2 runs over 6 innings of work. Alvarez put the Express on the board with a solo HR in the 4th inning, his 13th HR of the season. De Goti tied the game at 2 with an RBI double in the 5th. Round Rock took the lead in the 7th scoring 2 runs on a Ferguson RBI double and Straw RBI groundout. Mayfield added some much needed insurance in the 9th with a 2 run HR, his 6th of the season. The Missions made it interesting scoring 3 in the 9th but they were able to hold on for the win.

Note: Alvarez is hitting .526 with 3 HR, 12 RBI over his last 10 games.

AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (14-16) lost 6-1 (BOX SCORE)

Adcock started and turned in his best outing of the season going 5 innings while allowing just 1 run. The offense struggled for majority of the game but finally got on the board in the 7th on a Rojas RBI double. Bailey relieved Adcock and really struggled allowing 5 runs in 2.2 innings. The offense was unable to get anything else going and lost 6-1.

Note: Rojas is hitting .361 with 6 RBI, 5 SB over his last 10 games.

A+: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (15-16) OFF

A: Quad Cities River Bandits (19-10) won 4-2 (BOX SCORE)

Another good pitching performances for the River Bandits. Hansen started and tossed 7 scoreless innings while striking out 10. The offense got on the board in the first inning on a Valdez RBI groundout. They picked up 3 more runs in the 7th on a Valdez 2 run double and a Lacroix RBI groundout.
