The Quad Cities River Bandits are the only minor league team left in the playoffs, and they are moving on to the next round!

A: Quad Cities River Bandits (2-1) won 8-5 (BOX SCORE)

Sandoval got the start for the River Bandits last night in the decisive game three and he did not disappoint. He went 6.2 innings allow just 3 hits and 2 runs with 6 strikeouts. Quad Cities jumped out to a nice lead in the 2nd inning getting 4 runs on a Rojas 2 run HR, Toro-Hernandez solo HR, and Moran RBI single.

In the 3rd they would get 3 more runs on a Matijevic RBI single and 2 runs scoring on a McCormick single. Robinson lead the 4th inning off with a homer to make it 8-0. While Peoria did battle back to get 5 runs, Corniel pitched the final 1.2 innings without allowing a run to shut the door.

Note: Moran hit .500 (5-for-10) in the three game series.
