Astros Minor League Recap: June 21st, 2017

Another day of baseball in the books. See how the teams and prospects performed in their games last night.

AAA: Fresno Grizzlies (35-37) OFF

AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (35-37) lost 7-4 (BOX SCORE

Emanuel had been rolling his last few outings but last night didn’t go well. He went 6 innings and allowed 5 runs. Corpus entered the 2nd inning down 5-0 but got 2 runs on a Stubbs RBI groundout and a Laureano RBI single. Mayfield added an RBI single in the 4th to bring them closer. Unfortunately, San Antonio played add on late and the deficit was too much to overcome.

Note: Mayfield is hitting .359 over his last 10 games.

A+: Buies Creek Astros (37-33) OFF

A: Quad Cities River Bandits (37-31) OFF

CC: TBD

BC: Yoanys Quiala (2.31 ERA)
